About the Owner
As a chandler I have received my certification in candle making. I have been making candles going on 3 years where I specialize in customizations followed along with the aesthetic nature of art. My focus is to provide organic products that will help people from relaxation to skin conditions; such as eczema. Whether it’s candles, massaging oils, lotions, or soap bars I am dedicated to aiding and providing products that people can enjoy & to give the gift of giving with something that’s customizable for a special meaning. With a background in the medical field and a passion for positivity I wanted to combine my expertise with a keen eye for detail, art, & peace to publish the importance of being an active member within my community, rather than being another store owner.
When and Why did you start your business?
The small business funded in 2021 but was under the name D’s Creations. I was in the medical field for 5 years and wanted to use that knowledge towards organic products that people were able to use. I had a love for candles and decided to make my own but, with healthier ingredients. Which, led me to my lotions and soap bars. My husband and 2 daughters kept having eczema flare ups from all the chemicals in laundry soap to bath soap and that’s when the inspiration from the Hispanic cultural came in. They use the Aloe Vera plants for numerous remedies. In 2023 we decided to make the decision to incorporate more of our faith into the business and registered under the new name “Heavenly Divine LLC” where we started a new line of candles that included Christian scriptures. Overall, being a positive influence within the community is the goal. Having a bad day or need a helpful lift me up is what I wanted the business to have, to be able to walk into a store and experience the beauty of peace and laughter that will enlighten any one’s day/mood.
Describe what makes your business different or special?
Heavenly Divine LLC is not your ordinary candle store. We make aesthetic candles that you won’t find around town from desserts to simply fun art. Everything is homemade which makes every piece that much special and the ingredients isn’t common either. Most stores or candle shops use a blend of soy wax as I use coconut wax which provides a healthier and longer burn. Also, being the only faith based candle store who also includes scripture candles & we specialize in customizations as well. So need some excitement for a wedding, party, or some home decor we got you covered!
Why did you choose Oakes Brothers Marketplace?
I chose Oakes Brothers Marketplace because both my husband & I were born and raised in Caldwell, so to be able to have a store in the heart of Caldwell especially in the community is such an honor!
