Our Mission
I have been reselling vintage full time for the better part of a decade, but the idea of Well Worn Wares as a brick & mortar became a goal & idea just before the pandemic. I decided to take the step to open my own store to be able to take care of my family with a profession I truly care about, and have a lot of knowledge in.
About The Owner
Well Worn Wares was created by Kodee Archuleta in late 2014, in Portland OR, shortly after they moved from Nampa, ID. We focus on bringing well curated, high quality, and true vintage goods to the public. We take a special focus in American made selvedge denim & workwear like Levi’s, Lee, & Carhartt.
When and Why did you start your business?
I’ve been reselling vintage full time for the better part of a decade, but the idea of Well Worn Wares as a brick & mortar became a goal & idea just before covid. I decided to take the step to open my own store to be able to take care of my family with a profession I truly care about, and have a lot of knowledge in.
Describe what makes your business different or special?
I’d say the things that set Welk Worn Wares apart from other vintage clothing stores is first off, my knowledge on the products. Not only can I tell your they’re old, but most times I can give you the year it was made, and with a lot of denim I can even give you the month. I’ve put a lot of time and effort into knowing every little detail about almost every aspect of the vintage industry, and that creates a certain level of comfort for a customer knowing they’re not being sold something that’s not worth much, or not even old for that matter.
Why did you choose Oakes Brothers Marketplace?
I chose Oakes Brothers because I had been looking downtown Caldwell for a few months, but specifically wanted to be as near to the plaza as possible, so when I saw there was an opening there, I jumped at the opportunity and was signed within a week!
